Why Study With Us?
Christ-centred Approach
The St Philip's Teaching School has a Christ-centred approach to teacher training within a supportive Christian community. Trainee teachers are partnered with dedicated Christian mentor teachers to guide and support teacher development. Christian mentors partner with trainee teachers in weekly goal setting, reflection and review sessions.
Industry Ready
Trainee teachers are placed in the classroom from the first day of their degrees. Our trainees are not just students aspiring to become teachers at the end of their degrees; they are teachers from day one. They are valued members of the school community, far more than just an extra pair of hands.
