Saints Academy Junior Educators - Cessnock

Role: Saints Academy Junior Educators

Location: Cessnock

Hours: Casual

The St Philip's Christian College group of schools leads the way in Whole of Life Education. At St Philip's Christian College (SPCC), we passionately believe in the need for independent schools which develop the whole child - intellectually, socially, physically and spiritually; schools that maintain high academic and behavioural standards while keeping the truth of the Christian Gospel at its core.

Saints Academy, as part of St Philips Christian Education, is an innovative new program in the hours beyond school where intentional and tailored learning is offered to children as an alternative to traditional after school care options. We offer unhurried learning opportunities for curious children to engage in learning they love, with prioritized times in nature and a focus on physical fitness, health, well-being and creativity.

Do you have a vision for innovative education?

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic educators with the passion and expertise to work within an innovative educational program for Primary school aged children. You will be working with a team of teachers and educators in leading and embedding a beyond school program that offers children extended learning in unhurried, fun and creative ways. Our featured Saints Academy Core Learning Program includes:

Active Core – Sports and Physical Activity program

Adventure Core – Loose-parts play and Outdoor Exploration program

Creative Core – Visual Arts mixed-medium program, with additional music opportunities.

Discovery Core – STEM-inspired program, including Lego learning and design thinking opportunities.
