We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 in our newly renovated Port Stephens Campus, a space thoughtfully designed to support the unique learning needs of our students. This purpose-built environment, crafted in collaboration with Coverite Projects, features a central innovation hub for self-regulation, breakout spaces for quiet reflection, and collaborative zones for hands-on learning.
Coverite’s research-driven approach ensured the design incorporated sensory zoning, spatial sequencing, and enhanced acoustics, all crucial for a neurodiverse learning environment. Thoughtful details, like calming blue tones reflecting our coastal surroundings and the retention of high, curved ceilings for natural light, create a welcoming and flexible space for both students and staff.
The response? Overwhelmingly positive! Our students and teachers are thriving in this dynamic new space, and we couldn’t be happier. A huge thank you to Coverite Projects for their dedication to creating an environment where our students can truly flourish.
