The Early Learning Sector for St Philip’s Christian Education began with the establishment our Narnia Preschool in 1992 on the original St Philip’s church site.
Since its inception, the Early Learning Sector has seen rapid growth. In 2013, Narnia Waratah moved from its original church site to High Street and re-established as a new centre for 0-5-year-olds incorporating an industry-leading transition-to-school program, thus establishing the structure for our SPCE Early Learning Centres.
Narnia Gosford was established in 2014 when St Philip’s Christian Education purchased the school currently known as SPCC Gosford which had an associated preschool.
Narnia Port Stephens was established in 2017 and Narnia Prep Cessnock was established in 2019 along with Narnia Young Parents in Waratah and Wyong to work in partnership with Young Parents College. Early Learning at SPCE has also led the development of Narnia Educator Training which was established in partnership with International Childcare College to train and develop Christian Early Childhood Educators to work in the Narnia Centres.
We are excited to see how God uses St Philip’s Christian Education in the Early Learning Sector over the years to come and we look forward to continuing to provide an environment in our Early Learning Centres which fosters a love of learning and a heart for God in our youngest members of the St Philip’s family.
