Junior School is a dynamic, exciting and inspiring place to learn and grow.
Who we are
Our Junior School is a place that is warm, welcoming and fun! It is in this place that seeds are planted and nurtured as we sow into others to fulfill their God given potential. We are concerned about the development of the whole child; their emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social and academic development.
It is a collaborative and supportive community where individual strengths are celebrated. Authentic, meaningful and significant relationships are formed, humility exists, and feedback is welcomed.
Our students have a hope for their future and understand that they can individually and collectively make a difference in their local and global community and are given the opportunity to do so.
Within the Junior School you will find a team of inspired and dedicated educators who deliver quality educational programs. We strive to ensure that all children and families feel that they belong, and great value is placed upon student wellbeing and care. We care deeply about children and understand that they are a gift, each one unique and valued.
Small Strong Beginnings
Our school began in 1995 with 41 students immersed in a safe, nurturing and challenging environment. After three decades of continued growth, we have zealously guarded this culture, so that today this same learning environment undergirds our quality education program.
Rich Learning Environment
Students learn in an environment of educational excellence and can embrace and immerse themselves in creative learning experiences that engage and excite. Our classrooms are full of opportunities to wonder, question, explore and practice. Our delivery of curriculum attends to differing learning styles and caters to the diverse range of learning needs.
Our Junior School Students participate in Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country carnivals (modified for Kindergarten, Year 1 and 2). All students enjoy a rich diversity of excursions and incursions and have many opportunities to participate in an ever-growing array of extra-curricular activities.
A unique school initiative is our Kindergarten / Year 12 buddy program. Each year, our Year 12 students take a Kindergarten student as their ‘buddy’ and together they journey through the year, playing games, reading, writing and learning together, culminating in a special presentation by Kindergarten at our Year 12 Graduation assembly. These friendships often last for many years after our Year 12 students graduate.
