Congratulations to all Year 12 students on their exceptional success in the HSC examinations in 2023! It is with great pride and joy that we celebrate each one of them for their achievements. Their hard work, dedication, and tenacity throughout the year, together with their ability to rise to the challenges presented by the HSC, have culminated in these excellent results.
On behalf of the St Philip’s Christian College (Newcastle) community, we want to thank everyone who has contributed to the learning journey of our Year 12 students over the past 13 years, which reflects a collective spirit of teamwork and support within our community. As leaders in the College, we count it a privilege and honour to have been a part of these students’ lives, believing they will achieve great success in the future, as they apply the same passion, curiosity, and resilience that brought them to this point.
The Year 12 class of 2023 has achieved notable success, including the following highlights: 2 students achieved an ATAR of 99, the highest being 99.6; 23% of student ATARs were over 90; 81 students achieved Band 6; and 3 students were named as All-Rounders, receiving Band 6 results in at least 10 units of courses studied. Almost all students’ results show improvement since the Trial HSC Examinations and are to be commended on their individual achievement!
Once again, congratulations to the Class of 2023! We wish them abundant success and pray God’s blessing over all their future endeavours.
