It is such a privilege to be the Head Of Senior School at St Philip’s Christian College Gosford.
I have been in education for over 30 years and during that time I have held many different leadership positions, however, I have always managed to do the thing that I love most and that is being in the classroom with the students. Teaching is fun and teaching Mathematics is even more fun but the real joy comes from the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people. Students in Senior School are at a crucial time of their lives and helping them to understand who they are, what they are good at and how they can use those gifts and abilities to be the person God made them to be is an extraordinary privilege. At St Philip’s we talk a lot about Passion and Purpose as we believe that God has made each of our students unique and our job is to help them to discover both so they might thrive. In essence, we want our students to know who they are, know the God who made and loves them, love learning, develop life-long friendships and to be well equipped to flourish as they look forward to life beyond school with great hope and excitement.
Personally, my 3 children are now quite grown up and have had the chance to attend a school a lot like St Philip’s and this has given them such a strong foundation for the rest of their lives and the opportunity to pursue their goals and dreams. I am confident that the students at St Philip’s Gosford will have the same opportunity as I know that the staff are extremely capable, care deeply for the students and are highly committed to helping them to succeed.
I welcome you to make an appointment to come and to take a tour, meet our staff and experience our professional, warm and caring environment at St Philip’s Christian College Gosford.
