A letter from our principal
St Philip’s Christian College Gosford Strategic Plan will allow the College to grow and equip students for the whole of life. We are committed to igniting passion and purpose in our staff and our students so that they may reach their God given potential. We seek to achieve this by:
- Providing opportunities for our students to grow in the knowledge of their heavenly Father and to experience a safe environment in which they can develop a personal faith in Jesus Christ.
- Ensuring our staff are resourced and equipped to provide the highest quality of Christian Education.
- Developing facilities and educational resources to inspire and generate engagement, creativity, and innovation.
- Creating a culture of respect, positivity and responsibility whereby our students are nurtured to care for self well, as well as looking to the needs of others.
- Understanding the individual gifts, skills and strengths that God has blessed each member of our community with in order to make meaningful contributions to our society.
The Executive team have spent time together planning and praying about the details contained in this document. We know, as a Christian community, as it is stated in Proverbs 16:9 that we may make plans, but it is the Lord that establishes the steps. Ultimately, He will bring about His purpose, which will be even greater than our plans, and so we are excited by what God has in store for the future of our College.
This document highlights our approach for the next three years as we empower staff and students. Learning experiences will be designed in order to prepare our students to flourish spiritually, socially, physically and mentally so that they may be equipped for their time at the College and beyond.
Mr Cameron Johnston
Principal (SPCC Gosford)
