Secondary PDHPE Teacher

St Philip’s Christian College Gosford is one of the leading independent educators in the Newcastle / Central Coast / Hunter Region. It is a non-denominational Christian School with an open enrolment policy.  We are currently seeking a Secondary PDHPE Teacher Full-Time (Part-Time considered) Commencing Term 1, 2025.

We therefore seek Christians who are professionally and personally committed to bringing their evangelical and Biblically based beliefs, values and practices to this ministry of Christian Education.

The successful candidate would ideally have the following experience:

  • To promote the Christian vision and ethos of the school and broader organisation.
  • To demonstrate a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • An accredited Teaching Degree as recognised by NESA.
  • Proven experience and expertise in subject specific Stage Three to Stage Five syllabi.
  • Possess positive classroom management skills and a desire to pastorally support and disciple the students
  • Possess a high level of interpersonal skills leading to constructive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
  • Experience teaching in a Christian school.
  • A desire / qualifications to be involved in co-curricular school activities.
