Spring Fair 2024
On 31 August 2024, over 8,000 attendees gathered at St Philip’s Christian College, Cessnock, for one of the most highly anticipated events of the year – the SPCC Spring Fair. With over a decade of tradition, this year's fair exceeded expectations and solidified its place as a beloved community event.
The fair was a vibrant celebration of school spirit, local talent, and family fun, offering activities for all ages. From exciting carnival rides to an adorable petting zoo, reptile exhibitions, pony rides and bustling market stalls, and a fantastic lineup of food trucks, the event brought together students, staff, families, and the broader community for a memorable day.
The live entertainment featured performances from SPCC students, local dance studios, and young musicians, creating a platform for our talented youth to shine. These showcases were a wonderful display of the creativity and skill present in our school and local community.
More than just a fun-filled day, the Spring Fair is an essential fundraiser for the school. This year, the much-needed funds will go towards upgrading playground equipment and adding shaded areas for everyday use, providing students with better resources for outdoor play and learning.
We are truly grateful to our sponsors, community donors, and the dedicated volunteers whose generosity and hard work made this day a success. The support from local businesses and families was instrumental in helping us reach our goals and continue improving the learning environment for our students.
With the overwhelming success of the 2024 Spring Fair, we’re excited to continue this tradition next year and look forward to what the 2025 SPCC Spring Fair will bring!
